Khamovnichesky police house - a historic building in Moscow in the Khamovniki district ( Komsomolsky Prospect , 16/2, p. 1). Built in 1897 by the project of architect A. O. Gunst . Included in the complex Khamovnicheskih barracks [1] . Now the building is occupied by fire station number 17.

History
At the beginning of the XIX century Khamovnichesky barracks were built. When they acted Orthodox Church. In 1897, architect Anatoly Ottovich Gunst reworked the bell tower of the church in the fire tower and built it into the building of the fire station. Soon after, Gunst was appointed architect of the Khamovnichesky and Prechistenskaya parts [1] .
Khamovnichesky fire and police house at the beginning of the XX century became one of the cultural centers of the capital. On the second floor there was a state-owned apartment in which police officer Sergey Sergeevich Goloushev lived, who gained fame as a painter and art critic. Bohemian evenings were often held in his apartment, in which artists, writers and musicians took part [1] .
Under Soviet rule, communal apartments were set up in the building. In 1941, the tower was demolished, since it could serve as a guide for German pilots [1] . In the beginning of the 2010s, the tower tower was restored by MSNRU-2 LLC according to the design of the architect Jan Y. Davis. At the Moscow Restoration competition in 2014, this work was recognized as the best in the “Objects of Civil Architecture” nomination [2] .
