Geography

The village is located on the banks of the Sega River, 11 km north from the center of the settlement of the village of Bavleny and 23 km north-east of the district center of the city of Kolchugino .

History

In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Petrovsky volost of the Yuryevsky district , since 1925 - as part of the Yuryevsky volost of the Yuryev-Polsky district of Ivanovo-Voznesensky province . In 1859 [2] there were 21 yards in the village, and in 1905 [3] there were 39 yards.

Since 1929, the village was part of the Klinsky village council of the Kolchuginsky district , since 1940 - as part of the Bavlensky village council , since 1962 - as part of the Lychevsky village council , since 1981 - as part of the Bolshekuzminsky village council , and since 2005 - as part of the Bavlensky rural settlement .
