Jonathan B. Losos (born December 7, 1961, St. Louis, Missouri) is an American biologist, evolutionary biologist and herpetologist, ecologist and biodiversity specialist [1] . Professor at Harvard University and curator of the Museum of Comparative Zoology under him, member of the National Academy of Sciences of the USA (2018) [2] .

Biography
He graduated from Harvard University (Bachelor of Biology), where he studied in 1980-1984. He received his Ph.D. in zoology from the University of California at Berkeley, studying there in 1984-1989. From 1987, he also worked in the latter, and from 1990 to 1992, a postdoc at the University of California at Davis.
From 1992 to 2005 at the University of Washington: assistant professor, associate professor since 1997, professor since 2001. From 2000 to 2003, the director of the .
Since 2006, he has been a professor at Harvard University and a curator for herpetology at the Museum of Comparative Zoology under him.
