From 1971 to 1973 he played for Alma-Ata Kairat in the Higher League of the USSR. In 1979, he also plays in the Major League, but for his first team, which by that time was called "Nistru". He ended his professional career in Tselinograd Tselinnik .
In August 1992, he was the head coach of the Moldavian national team, the team participated in the Jordanian tournament and took third place [1] .
