Ryancourt-le-Bapom ( Fr. Riencourt-lès-Bapaume ) is a commune in France , part of the O-de-France region , Pas-de-Calais department , Arras district, canton Bapom . One of the most sparsely populated communes of the Pas-de-Calais department.

Content
Geography
It is located 3 km along the roads southwest of Bapom and 25 km along the roads south of Arras . It borders the city of Bapom and the municipalities of Bankur , Viller-a-Flo and Bolankur .
History
Mentioned in the reference book of 1770 [1] as a church parish in the region of Artois , belonging to the Arras diocese , with 19 houses and 93 inhabitants. In 1793, the village was part of the canton of Roquigny, Bapom district, Pas-de-Calais department. Since 1801 it has been part of the canton of Bapom of Arras County [2] .

The unemployment rate in 2015 was 5.9% (in 2010 it was 12.5%). Of the 23 inhabitants between the ages of 15 and 64, there are 16 workers, 1 unemployed, 3 students and 3 other economically inactive. Of the 16 workers, 7 worked in their own commune, 9 in another.

Policy
The post of mayor since 2008 is occupied by Jean Descamps. The municipal council includes 7 deputies, including the mayor. In 2014, they were selected without alternative in the first round [4] .

In 2015, 39 people lived in the commune (21 men and 18 women), 62.1% of 29 people aged 15 years and over were married.
