Geography
The village is located on the banks of the Koloksha River , 4 km south of the district center of the city of Yuryev-Polsky .
History
In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Ilyinsky volost of the Yuryevsky district , since 1925 - as part of the Yuryevsky volost of the Yuryev-Polish district of Ivanovo-Voznesensky province . In 1859 [2] there were 8 yards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 28 yards.
Since 1929, the village was part of the Kuzmadinsky Village Council of the Yuryev-Polsky District , since 1954 - as a part of the Varvara Village Council , since 1959 as a member of the Drozdovsky Village Council , since 1963 - as a member of the Kuchkovsky Village Council , and since 2005 as part of the Krasnoselsky Village Settlement .
