Geography
The village is located in the northern part of the region, near the source of the Chindat river (a tributary of the Yaya river), at a distance of about 14 kilometers (in a straight line) south-west of the district center of the urban-type settlement Yaya . The absolute height is 245 meters above sea level [2] .

History
The settlement at the station was founded in 1894. According to 1926, there were 63 households and 218 people lived (mostly Russians). The first-level school functioned. Administratively, the settlement was part of the Sudzhensky Village Council of the Sudzhensky District of the Tomsk District of the Siberian Territory [4] .
