Panama fabric or simply Panama is a kind of dense and relatively heavy artificial fabrics that are made from specially twisted fibers. Panama fabric is used for sewing women's suits and dresses.
Panama fabric is produced from threads in which the viscose yarn of a crepe twist is woven with thin threads of acetate or viscose silk of a weak twist. The use of threads with a special twist gives Panama an attractive look, but increases its shrinkage when wet. Typically, the release of fabric occurs in standard rolls 88 cm wide.
Wash panama's cloth should occur as well as products made of artificial silk , and when smoothing it is allowed to use only slightly heated iron [1] .
