Andre Robert ( fr. André Robèr ; born July 21, 1955 , La Plaine de Palmiste, Reunion Island , France ) - writer, poet, artist of the book and mail art . Known for his poetic texts written in the Reunion dialect of Creole .

Biography
In 1975 , leaves the island of Reunion and moved to France. From 1982 to 1988 studied visual arts at the University of Paris. As a militant maverick, in May 1981 he became a member of a number of radical anarchist groups: "The Mad Cow", "Anartiste", "Marseille", "Marius Jacob of Marseille", and later - "John Cage" (John Cage) who were members of the Federation of Anarchists . He was the chief editor of the annual French magazine "Art & Anarchie". Since 1985 , after receiving a degree in the field of fine arts, he has become a presenter of programs on contemporary art on Radio Libertaire ( Libertarian Radio). One of the organizers of the symposium on the theme “Art and Anarchy” in 1991 on the occasion of a ten-year radio station. In 1999, the artist created his own mini-publishing house, existing under the label "Éditions K'A" and focused on short-run poetic publications in the artist’s book format in Creole.
Since 2010 , he has held regular Biennale mail art "Biennale internationale d'Art postal d'Ille sur Têt" and visual poetry "Biennale internationale de poésie visuelle d'Ille sur Tet été" in his studio-gallery in Iy-sur-Te. [2] [3]
He currently lives and works in Iy-sur-Te ( Eastern Pyrenees ).
