Story
Fifty years ago, in the small town of Sibrook, an accident occurred at the power plant, thanks to which half of the population turned into zombies , who were hungry for eating brains. The part of the population that did not suffer from the accident built a wall, the part that began to be called Zombitown behind the wall. After some time, scientists invented a bracelet that allowed zombies to control themselves and their thirst for brains. And now, in our time, children from Zombitown were allowed to study at a regular school, which, of course, was not liked by everyone, but because of the friendship of the zombies and the cheerleader, people had to change their views on zombies.

The production of the film began in May 2017 [1] [2] . The film was shot in Toronto for over 10 weeks [3] .
Release
The premiere of the film took place on February 16, 2018 on the Disney Channel [4] .
Ratings
During its premiere, the film attracted a total of 2.57 million viewers with a rating of 0.46 for people aged 18-49 years [5] . Over the weekend, the film spun 8 times and reached 10.3 million viewers [6] .
Continuation
On February 11, 2019, a sequel to the film was announced with returning actors, director and screenwriters. Filming of the second part will take place in the spring of 2019 [7] .
