Career
He started playing football in his hometown. In his youth, he played local in the Olympia team. Soon he joined the team, which is the main competitor of his first club - Gloria. There, at the age of 17, he played for the first time on a professional level.
In 1927, he made his debut in the Romanian national team in a match against Poland (the match ended with a score of 3: 3). In 1930, he was part of the national team at the first ever World Cup , with no goals at the tournament [2] .
In the season 1935-1936 he became the top scorer of the Romanian Championship in the capital 's Rapida , with whom he won the national cup three times. In 1938 he returned to his hometown.
After completing his career, he was a football referee for 15 years.
