History
The temple is located in the northern part of the village, on the left bank of the Susanka River.
The first wooden church building was built from 1750 to 1754. It was consecrated in the name in the name of the supreme apostles Peter and Paul. In 1797, work began on the construction of a capital stone building. The temple was built at the expense of the factory owners Yakovlev. After the completion of work, on May 27, 1812, the side chapel of the baptist church was consecrated in the name of the Entry into the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary [2] .
In 1871-1878, the third chapel was added, consecrated in the name of the Holy Prince Alexander Nevsky. In 1880-1881 the church was painted and plastered; a five-tier iconostasis was built in the main temple. The temple was in charge of especially revered icons: "The Mother of God of Pochaev, painted with oil on a wooden board in the convent of the city of Turinsk and the Icon of the Mother of God of Athos, painted in the Athos of St. Andrew's Monastery on a cypress board." To the catholicity of the temple belonged several houses of the village [2] .
In 1936 the temple was closed. It operates again from 1947 to 1962, after which a kindergarten is located in the building. In 1990, the community was restored in Neivo-Shaitansky, restoration work began [2] .
Architecture
The stone building includes the temple volume of the quarter with the five-sided apse, the refectory, wider due to the aisles, the bell tower, the refectory, the narthex advanced forward. The corners of the quarters are treated with blades, and at the end of the walls - smoothly curved ledges with windows [3] .
On the quarter is a dome bearing an octagon cut by lucarnes. The latter serves as a pedestal for the head on the octagonal drum, to which volutes are assigned. The decor of the facades, in addition to the blades, is reduced to cornice crackers and flat platbands containing the volut motif [3] .
