NBA Summer League 2018

The 2018 NBA Summer League ( English 2018 NBA Summer League ) consisted of three professional basketball leagues organized by the NBA , Sacramento Kings and Utah Jazz immediately after the 2018 NBA draft . Four NBA clubs participated in the Vivint Smart Home Arena , which lasted four days in the Salt Lake City summer league ^[1] . Sacramento Kings was the first host of a summer league called the California Classic. It was attended by 4 teams that played in the " Golden 1-center " ^[2] . All 30 NBA teams played in Paradise (near Las Vegas ) at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion from July 6-17, 2018 ^[3] .

NBA organized a flying league in Nevada . Although Las Vegas is not part of the league name and games are held in Paradise , located near Las Vegas , the league is usually called the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas or the Summer League in Las Vegas .

Playoffs

Sowing

Teams will be first seeded according to general statistics using the tie-break system

They consider the result of meetings among themselves (it is used only when the indicators of two teams are equal)
System of points for a quarter (1 point is awarded to teams for a victory in each quarter. In case of a draw in a quarter, each team is awarded half a point. 0 points are given to teams for a loss in a quarter)
Consider the total difference between scored and missed points.
Cast lots

In the first round, teams play, which will be seeded with 3 to 30 numbers. In the second round, the winners of the pairs of the first round will meet each other. They will be joined by 2 teams, seeded from 1 to 2 numbers. In the classification round, places from 17 to 30 will be determined. The winners of the second round go to the quarter-finals, where they will play 4 tickets to the semifinals. The winners of the semi-finals reach the final, where the title of champion of the NBA Summer League is played. At all stages of the playoffs (except for the finals), if a team with a lower sowing defeats a team sown with higher numbers, then the sowing number of the losing team passes to it.
