Club career
Born October 27, 1963 in the city of Seoul . The career of a football player began with performances for the youth team of Incheon University.
In adult football he made his debut in 1986 with appearances for the Seoul club team, whose colors he defended throughout his career, which lasted twelve years.
Team appearances
In 1989, he made his debut in official matches as part of the South Korean national team . During his career in the national team, which lasted 6 years, he played 51 matches in the form of the country's main team, scoring 1 goal.
As part of the team, he participated in the 1990 World Cup in Italy , the 1994 World Cup in the United States . At the first of these tournaments, he took part in only one group stage game against the Belgian national team , coming on as a substitute at the beginning of the second half. On the second, he played in all three matches in which the team scored two draws, taking third place in the group, and thus could not reach the next stage of the tournament.
Coach Career
