He played for Ulsan Hyundai and Jeonbuk Dinos clubs, as well as the national team of South Korea .

Club career
In adult football he made his debut in 1985 with performances for the Pohang Steelers club team, in which he spent one season, taking part in only 1 match of the championship.
Subsequently, he became interested in the representatives of the coaching staff of the Ulsan Hyundai club, which he joined in 1989 . He played for the team from Ulsan for the next five seasons of his playing career. Most of the time spent at Ulsan Hyundai was the main player in the defense of the team.
In 1995, he signed a contract with the Chonbuk Dinos club , in which he spent the next two years of his career as a player. Playing as part of the "Chonbuk Dinos" basically went to the field in the main team.
He joined the Seoul club in 1998, during which he played 12 matches for the team in the national championship, after which he ended his playing career.
Team appearances
In 1993 he made his debut in official matches as part of the South Korean national team . Spent 9 matches in the form of the country's main team.
As part of the team, he was a member of the 1994 World Cup in the United States .
