Ibrahim Abdurakhmanovich Dakhkilgov ( August 14, 1937 - March 15, 2014 ) - professor , famous Ingush writer, folklorist , director of the Research Institute named after Chakha Akhrieva , author of the national flag of Ingushetia [1] .

Biography

Dakhkilgov Ibrahim Abdurakhmanovich was born on August 14, 1937 in the city of Ordzhonikidze (Vladikavkaz) [1] . His great-grandfather Kaituko, among the first settlers from Angusht, mastered the most ancient ancestral home of the Ingush Nana-Nassar. The ancestors of Ibrahim Dakhkilgov were participants in the Russian-Turkish and World War I, and father Abdurakhman fought on the fields of World War II [2] .

The early childhood of Ibrahim Dakhkilgov passed in the village of Balta on the banks of the Terek [3] . After the deportation of the Ingush in 1944, the child ended up in Kazakhstan . In Kazakhstan, Ibrahim graduated from high school and worked as a puncher at the Almaty- based Enamelware factory. In 1957, after the restoration of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic , the Dakhkilgov family returned to the Caucasus . I. A. Dakhkilgov entered the Chechen-Ingush State Pedagogical Institute, where he graduated with honors in 1962. From this year until his death, he worked continuously in a higher school, first at the Chechen-Ingush State University, since 1994 - at the Ingush State University, then headed the Ingush Research Institute of Humanities named after Chakh Akhriev [1] . At the university, he not only gave lectures, but also held conferences, seminars, various events [3] .

Ibrahim Abdurakhmanovich was engaged in science since his student years. According to Said Idrisovich Chakhkiev , “since 1958, he annually makes expeditions to the mountainous Ingushetia. He goes around mountains and gorges, villages and farms, inspects residential and battle towers, crypts , meets with residents of the most remote areas, studies the history and geography of the region, keeps records of ancient songs, myths , legends and tales. There is an increased accumulation of invaluable material ” [3] . In 1969, I. A. Dakhkilgov defended his thesis at the Institute of World Literature in Moscow . On its basis, the young scientist later wrote the monograph "Ingush Literature (the period of development until the 1940s)." This was the first dissertation and the first monograph in history, entirely devoted to the problems of the formation and development of Ingush literature [3] .

I. A. Dakhkilgov was awarded several high titles: “Honored Worker of Science of Chechen-Ingushetia” (1987), “Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Ingushetia” (1997), “Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation” (2001). Since 1991, I. A. Dakhkilgov is a member of the Union of Writers of Russia , and since 1999 - an academician of the Academy of Social Sciences [4] .

In early 2013, I. A. Dakhkilgov retired, but until the completion of construction work on a typical building for the Ingush Scientific and Research Institute of Humanities named after C. Akhrieva he came to the construction site and watched the progress of work. He did not live up to the opening of the building [2] . Professor Ibrahim Abdurakhmanovich Dakhilgov died on March 15, 2014 at the age of 77 [5] .

For many years, I. A. Dakhkilgov studied Ingush literature and folklore, compiled educational literature and wrote works of art in Russian and Ingush. He is also the compiler of a number of books on the work of Ingush writers ( Z. K. Malsagov , H.-B. Mutaliev ), scientific editor of the works of various authors [4] . Under his leadership, a 10-volume project "Anthology of Ingush Folklore" in the Ingush and Russian languages ​​was carried out. It included priceless field materials that were collected and recorded back in the 19th century, and field materials by contemporaries. Today, on the basis of the fundamental work “History of Ingushetia”, textbooks on the history of Ingushetia for comprehensive schools of the republic have been created [6] .

According to I.A. Dakhkilgov’s own memoirs, for the first time he began to write works of art for children at the request of Azamat Zyazikov, who in the 1970s worked as editor-in-chief of the Chechen-Ingush book publishing house. There was an acute shortage of children's literature in the Ingush language , there were few children's authors. Soon after the release of his works, he became a recognized Ingush writer [3] :
