Club career
Born November 18, 1971 in the city of Incheon . At a youthful level, he played for the University of Korea.
In adult football he made his debut in 1994 with performances for the Bucheon club team, in which he spent eight seasons, taking part in 146 championship matches.
He completed his professional playing career at the Busan Ai Park club, for whose team he played during 2003.
Team appearances
In 1993 he made his debut in official matches as part of the South Korean national team . During his career in the national team he spent 25 matches in the form of the country's main team.
As part of the national team, he participated in the 1998 World Cup in France , the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2000 in the USA .
Coaching
For the first time he became the head coach of the team in 2010, heading the Singapore club Home United [1] . He won two Singapore Cups in 2011 and 2013. In 2014, the parties ceased cooperation. A year later, he headed the coaching staff of the Shenzhen team, and in 2017, he served as the head coach of Tianjin Ted [2] .
