World Cup 2006 (qualifying tournament, UEFA, group 7)

The draw for the 2006 World Cup qualifier was held in Frankfurt on December 5, 2003. The national teams of the following countries were included in group 7 of the UEFA zone: Spain , Belgium , Serbia and Montenegro , Bosnia and Herzegovina , Lithuania and San Marino . Matches in group 7 were from September 4, 2004 to October 12, 2005.

The winner of the group, Serbia and Montenegro, went straight to the final stage of the 2006 World Cup . Spain was one of the eight best runners-up and entered butt games, where Slovakia won them by lot. They won both matches, and thus also qualified for the final stage of the World Cup.
