Barguzin Buryats ( bourgeon. Bargazhanay buryaaduud ) - ethno-territorial group of the Buryat ethnic group . Settled in the valley of the Barguzin River, which flows into Lake Baikal in the northeast.

Tribal composition

The ethno-territorial group of the Barguzin Buryats includes such tribes as Abazai (Abzai), Bayandai, Shono, Hengalder, Bulagad, Galsud, Seganud, Emhenud, Bora, Uuli (uli, oli, ooli), Basai, otorsi (otorchin), Sharad Hurumsha, Ongoy, Khadalai, Soda, Mantis (barefoot), Sogol [1] , Netun [2] . The composition of the Barguzin hengeldyrs includes the following bones: honkhoi, hadalay, khazuhai, uldey, soda, wuhan, nomol, ekuy (eehui), uuli (uli, oli, ooli) [2] . Among the Barguzin gallzuts, such branches as Todok, Manshuna (Manshuuna), Hodo (Hoodo), Ukhin, Yankhin (Yenhen), Nokhoi-Galsud [2] , Darkhan-Galsud [3] are named. The genus Bulgad (Bulagad) was formed as a result of combining the bone Bulgad belonging to the genus Abzai with branches of the genus Shono: Bogol, Sogol, Netun (Netug) [3] . All the Barguzin Buryat tribes come from the upper Lena and the upper Kuda valleys and its tributaries, Murin . Most of them belong to the large Ehirit tribe. Tribes such as Seganud, Emhanud, Hurumsha are non-aligned with large tribes. The galsud and charade tribes, whose ethnonyms coincide with the Khorinsky ones , also come from the western side of Lake Baikal .
