Donte Divincenzo ( born Donte DiVincenzo , born January 31, 1997) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Milwaukee Bucks National Basketball Club. Before joining the NBA, he played for the team of the Villanova University “ Villanova Wildcats ”, which became the NCAA champion in 2016 and 2018.

Biography
Donte Divinchenzo was born in Newark (Delaware) to the family of John and Katie Divinchenzo. Initially, the boy was fond of football, but in high school he switched to basketball [1] . He studied at the high school Saylesium, where he played for the local basketball team, which included twice won the state championship [2] . Upon graduation from school, he entered Villanova University . In his debut season for the student team, he played only 9 games after which he injured his right leg and was forced to miss the rest of the season [3] . The Wildcats became NCAA champions this year. Due to the omission of the first season in the next, he continued to be considered a newcomer, and according to its results he was included in the newcomers team of the Big East conference [2] . In the 2017/18 season, his team again became the NCAA champion, and Divinchenzo in the final match of the tournament scored a record 31 points for himself and became the most outstanding player of the tournament [4] . On April 19, 2018, he announced that he was going to nominate himself for the NBA draft , but did not hire an agent, while retaining the opportunity to return to the university. But on May 29, he finally decided to leave the school and hired a sports agent.
On June 21, 2018, Divinchenzo was selected on the NBA draft in the first round under the total number 17 by the Milwaukee Bucks club [5] [6] , and on July 10 he signed a contract with the team [7] .
