Biography
Father - Major General M. Ya. Khomentovsky , Uncle - Major General F. Ya. Khomentovsky
He entered the service in 1837, with the production of officers . In 1854 he was promoted to colonel , commander of the reserve brigade of the 21st Infantry Division [2] . Since 1861, the commander of the Siberian 9th Grenadier General-Field Marshal Grand Duke Nikolai Nikolayevich regiment [3]
Since 1863, he was appointed District Quartermaster of the Kingdom of Poland [4] . In 1863 he was promoted to major general . Since 1869, the district quartermaster — the head of the quartermaster’s department of the Warsaw Military District [5] . In 1870 he was promoted to lieutenant general . Since 1875, an assistant to the chief quartermaster of the Ministry of War of the Russian Empire [6] . Since 1879, he was listed in the Reserve Forces . In 1887 he was promoted to general from infantry .
He was awarded all orders up to the Order of St. Alexander Nevsky granted to him in 1878 [7] .
