Amiryan Street ( Armenian Ամիրյան փողոց ) is a street in the center of Yerevan . Passes from Republic Square to Saryan Street . The length of the street is about 900 m [1] . The street bears the name of the Armenian and Russian revolutionary Arsen Amiryan (1881-1918).

History
Before the October Revolution, it was called Nazarovskaya Street [2] .
Actively built up at the beginning of the XX century. There was a female gymnasium and a city hospital. In Soviet times , during the reconstruction of the city, the street was built up mainly with houses of the 1950s and later [3] .
Noteworthy buildings and structures
- No. 2 - The former building of the Isahakyan Library in Yerevan. In the 2010s, it was demolished, with the exception of part of the facade wall [4] .
- No. 4/6 - Restaurant "Caucasian Captive." At the entrance there is a sculptural group of Coward, Dunce and Experienced [3] .
- No. 6 - The building of the girls' school of St. Hripsime. Built in 1898 according to the design of Vasily Mirzoyan. In 1902-1905, the second floor was built on and an extension was made on the right side [2] .
- No. 9 - School No. 67 named after Eghishe Charents . Previously, in its place stood the Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator [5] , demolished in 1939.
- No. 26 - Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema
