Firebeatz is a Dutch electronic music style duo founded in 2008 by Tim Benjamin Smulders and Jurre van Duselaar.

Musical career
Tim and Jurre met at an art school in Tilburg , the Netherlands , and they developed a shared interest in electronic music [1] . Then, in 2008, the Firebeatz duet was formed. Their releases, Funky Shit, Where's Your Head At, Miniman, Dear New York and Here We F * cking Go, were high on the Beatport dance charts .
The release of the song “Just One More Time Baby” appeared on the BBC Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong show and received good reviews from critics. [2] In addition, the track topped the Beatport House chart for many weeks. The song "Dear New York" has become one of the duo's biggest hits. She reached No. 2 in the Beatport Main Top 100 [3] .
In 2013, Firebeatz managed to maintain popularity with the track with "Gangster", which reached the Top 20 Beatport. Later they managed to diversify the style of their music and move on to other genres by collaborating with artists such as Pitbull , James Blunt , Ian Carey , Snoop Dogg , Freestylers , Flo Rida , Timbaland , Fatman Scoop , Alex Gaudino , Wynter Gordon , Bingo Players and Sean Paul .
In February 2014, they released a joint track with Martin Garrix - “Helicopter”. He won first place on the Beatport chart [4] . In the same year, they collaborated with Sander van Doorn and released the Guitar Track. In June 2014, Firebeatz worked with Tiësto and Ladyhawke to release the track “Last Train”, which was featured on Tiësto’s fifth studio album, “Town Town Paradise”. In November 2014, they hit Kelvin Harris's studio album, “Motion,” which included their joint track “It Was You.”
In 2018, Firebeatz and DubVision founded the supergroup METAFO4R , performing for the first time with a watch set at EDC Las Vegas [5] .
