Biography
Born in Perm . She graduated from high school with a gold medal (1965), art history department of the history department of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov (1971). From 1973 to 2008, she headed the department of domestic art of the Perm State Art Gallery .
Scientific work
His research interests are Perm wooden sculpture , Stroganov icon painting , Stroganov gold embroidery, contemporary art of Perm and Prikamye .
Candidate dissertation on “Temple sculpture in the Perm region” (2003, scientific adviser A. V. Ryndina ), doctoral dissertation on “Carved iconostases and temple sculpture of Prikamye XVIII - early XX century” (2013) [1] .
The author of more than 300 scientific and popular science articles about Perm sculpture. Issued several monographs . In 2013, the first complete catalog of the Perm wooden sculpture collection was published under her authorship. O. M. Vlasova is the author and compiler of books about Perm artists: I. S. Borisov, O. D. Korovin, V. F. Kuzin , P. A. Oborin, A. I. Repin, K. M. Sobakin, V. I. Dudine, A. N. Tumbasov, L. I. Perevalov [2] .
Since 1993 he has been teaching at the Ural branch of RAZHViZ Ilya Glazunov (Perm), since 2014 he is a professor at the department of painting and composition [3] .
