History

The church in this area of the Iset basin is one of the first. A wooden temple was erected several times. For the first time, a wooden two-altar church near Lake Karasiye Ball was built in 1680 and lasted until the fire of 1787. There is no information about the architect and authors of the project of the first building. Three years later, a new building was rebuilt, which lasted from 1790 to 1800, until the next fire. The property and documents of the parish were destroyed by fire, only a part of the archive of expenditure books from 1751 to 1791 survived [2] .

It was decided to build a capital temple. In 1801, the laying of a stone church began. On March 19, 1808, one of the limits was consecrated in the name of the Monk Savvatiy of Solovetsky. The main temple was consecrated on July 14, 1823 in honor of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity [2] .

In 1850, a crack was formed in the arch of the bell tower, and a threat of collapse arose. The building was dismantled and rebuilt, adding another limit. December 12, 1854 a new limit was consecrated in honor of the icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary “Satisfy My Sorrows”. In the period 1875-1880, the main part of the church was expanded and rebuilt, under the guidance of industrial engineer Pavel Fedorovich Golyshev. The main temple was again consecrated by Pokhodilov on September 27, 1880, and the chapels, respectively, on November 15, 1881 and February 20, 1886 [2] .

Until 1800, the Istok temple belonged to the Tobolsk diocese and was in the immediate jurisdiction of the Yekaterinburg Spiritual Government . In the parish there was a wooden chapel in the village of Pokhodilova , a stone Nikolaev chapel in the village of Poplygina, and one wooden cross between the village and the village of Starikova. On June 24 and July 20, clocks and prayers were sent annually to the Pokhodilov Chapel, and two religious processions were performed in the village: the first on the day of the Presentation, after going to the water, to the parish cemetery to serve public and private memorial services, and the second, on the Day of the Transfiguration - the cross between the village and the village of Starikova [3] .

The church was closed in 1932, in Soviet times, the building served as a warehouse. Currently, the temple is not being restored. [4] .

Architecture

The church is three-colored stone. On one axis are a church with a faceted apse, refectory and bell tower. The volume of the church is crowned with five domes, a tent on a faceted drum and decorative chapters of small tents on rectangular pedestals at the corners of the quadrangle. All the premises of the church are also located on one axis: a door from a covered porch, a refectory of a hall type, a summer temple. At the corners of the quadrangle are pylons that support the dome with arches and sails. Trinity Church executed by regional architects in the manner of a master [5] .
