Biography
Born on August 21, 1937 in Novosibirsk. At the age of fourteen, he became a member of the Sports School of Dynamo in Novosibirsk. In 1955 he was accepted into the Dynamo HC (Novosibirsk), where he played until 1965. He also played in the major league 9 championships of the USSR. In 1966, he switched to coaching and coached HC Siberia until June 1969, after which he completed his sports career. Spent 230 matches and scored over 20 goals. In 1962 he was recognized as the best hockey player of the USSR championship. He was one of the strongest hockey players-defenders for the entire existence of the Novosibirsk ice hockey. He always played reliably and confidently, fought for the puck by force and clearly insured his partners.
