Club career

Pupil of the club " Alajuelens ". At age 18, Chinchilla traveled to Austria , where he played on loan to play for the Altakh minor league club. A trip to Europe helped the defender gain a foothold in his native club. Together with him, he repeatedly won the national championship , and in 2004 won the CONCACAF Champions League . In 2005, a Costa Rican moved to the American Los Angeles Galaxy . In one season spent in the United States , Chinchilla helped the team win the MLS Cup .

In 2006, the footballer returned to Altai again. Since then, he settled in Austria (only in 2008 he returned for a short period to his homeland in Liberia Mia). In recent years, the defender has represented the amateur team Koblakh, in which he plays the role of a playing coach.

Team Career

Pablo Chinchilsya made his debut for the national team in 1999. In 2002, he was in the application for the national team at the World Cup . A year later, the defender, along with “tikos”, took fourth place in the CONCACAF Gold Cup . In total, he spent 39 matches in Costa Rica, in which he scored one goal.
