The male choir “Invertebrate” is a modern Moscow musical group. Organized in 1997 with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy II. The creator and artistic director of the choir is a pupil of the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky , Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Archimandrite Peter (Afanasyev) . In 2016-2017. The choir was led by an assistant professor of contemporary choral performing arts at the Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky, Honored Artist of Russia A.L. Kislyakov . The leading soloists of the Helikon-Opera collaborated with the choir. In 2018, the collective ceased to exist [1] .
