Kazachok is a village in Starooskolsky urban district of Belgorod region , the center of Kazachanskaya rural territory . Kazachok village is located 27 km from Stary Oskol .

History

The village of Kazachok and its central parts are a settlement and points of ancient metallurgy of the 5th-10th centuries of our era. The southern margin of the settlement dates back to the III — V centuries of our era ( Chernyakhov culture , early iron). The name of the village is associated with the Cossack guard point, which existed even before the foundation of the Oskol fortress.

Mentioned in the Patrol Book for the year 1615 as the village Cossack Prost. In 1721, Kazachok settlement was the possession of Prince Menshikov . Sloboda Kazachok emerged as a settlement 26 versts from the town of Stary Oskol, along the road and the Oskol River, in which there were 54 courtyards, 438 inhabitants, a parish school , a bakery, a dairy and wine shop, and a forge. From the second half of the 17th century, residential buildings of the settlement gradually concentrated on the left bank of the Oskol River, where the village is currently located [2] .

On the left bank of the Oskol River was a church in honor of the Archangel Michael , built in the village of Kazachok in 1810.

In 1875, a school of letters was opened in Kazachka, where 8 students studied. In 1885 a parochial school was opened in the church lodge. On the initiative of the zemstvo in 1893 a hospital was built in the village of Kazachok. In 1896, a reading room library was opened in the village. The initiative of its creation belonged to the Zemsky assembly. In 1900, a new school building was built in the village of Kazachok. In 1909 Zemskaya School was opened in Kazachka [3] .

In the autumn of 1917, a detachment of armed revolutionaries arrived in the village of Kazachok. A committee of the poor was created. Began to form the Soviets . In August 1918, a party organization was organized in the village of Kazachok. During this period, the village councils were strengthened, they organized the first peasant partnerships, consumer cooperatives [4] .

From the times of the civil war, this colorful fact is known - thanks to the archival document: on September 7, 1919, the political department of the 42nd Infantry Division of the 13th Army organized a concert and rally in Kazachka. “A decorated van with a gramophone was driving around the village accompanied by agitators” [5] .

In 1929-1930, in the territory of several villages, where Kazachok also belonged, the commune "Giant" was organized. One of the commune departments united the villages Ivanovka, Golofeyevka , Nikolaevka, Kazachok. In 1931-1933 collective farms were formed in the village of Kazachok. These were the collective farms to them. Budyonny and them. Voroshilov .

From July 3, 1942 to January 21, 1943, the territory was in the zone of occupation . In total, during the war, 108 villagers died. Released by Soviet troops in February 1943.

In 1943, Kazachanskaya High School resumed its work. In 1960, a new building of the Kazachansk secondary school was built.

In 1964, the warriors who fell in World War II were reburied in a mass grave. In the same year a monument was erected. In 1979, the current monument was installed [6] .

In 1997, Kazachok (290 private households, 520 inhabitants) became the center of the Kazachanskaya rural territory (5 villages) in the Starooskolsky district .

At present, the farm of Milk Belogoriya OJSC, as well as family subsidiary farms, which have been developed within the framework of the existing program “Belogorie Family Farms”, are operating in the village.
