Chekhov Street ( cargo. ანტონ ჩეხოვის ქუჩა ) is a street in Tbilisi, on the left bank of the Kura River , from Metekh Descent to Isani Street ( Avlabari district).

The modern name is in honor of the great Russian writer A.P. Chekhov (1860-1904).

History
The former name of the street is Volkonskaya [1] . The street construction refers mainly to the 19th century, older buildings were destroyed during the Persian pogrom of the city in 1795. Partially reconstructed.
