Biography

Born September 30, 1881 in the village of Luzgarino, Yegoryevsky district, Ryazan province [2] in a peasant family

He graduated from the three-year Zemstvo national school in his native village, then the Yegoryevsky gymnasium and the Moscow 7th gymnasium, after which he entered the Konstantinovsky artillery school , where he completed three courses and was graduated on July 12, 1914 as a second lieutenant in the 14th mortar artillery division of the 14th army corps . On March 2, 1915, of his own free will, he transferred to the infantry - the 71st Belevsky Infantry Regiment .

Member of the First World War . He started the war on western Nolme, participated in the battles of Lublin, of San, and went all over Galicia. Second Lieutenant Egorov was wounded and shell-shocked several times. On October 3, 1916, near Dvinsk, surrounded by Germans, he did not surrender, broke into bayonets, and was seriously wounded in the shoulder and taken out of battle by his soldiers.
