Six states ( Karnataka , Assam , Chhattisgarh , Punjab , Maharashtra and Gujarat ) have signed agreements with the Isha Foundation regarding tree planting along river banks. The National Transformation Institute of India and the Ministry of Water Resources have formed commissions to study the proposal [10] [11] . At a conference in Germany in November, Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Program Eric Solheim discussed the Rallying Initiative initiative with Sadhguru.
