Itsukaichi ( Jap. 五日 市 ц Itsukaichi -mati ) was a village located in the western part of Tokyo's prefectural capital in Nishitama County , Japan .

Itsukaichi village was transformed into a village within Kanagawa Prefecture in 1879. April 1, 1889, the village of Konakano became part of the village of Itsukaichi. On April 1, 1893, Nishitama County, along with Minamitama and Kitatama counties, was transferred from Kanagawa Prefecture to Tokyo Metropolitan Prefecture. December 1, 1918 the villages of Mitsusato and Meiji are part of the village of Itsukaichi. On July 1, 1943, in connection with administrative reform, Tokyo Prefecture and the city of Tokyo are united in the Tokyo Metropolitan Prefecture. On April 1, 1955, the villages of Masuko, Tokura, and Komi are part of Itsukaichi village. On September 1, 1995, the village of Itsukaichi merged with the city of Akigawa into the new city of Akiruno and, therefore, no longer exists as an independent village.
At the time of its merger, the city had an estimated population of 22,252 people, a density of 437 people / km². The total area was 50.90 km²

Geographical position
The village was located on Honshu Island in Tokyo Prefecture in the Kanto Region . It was located about 56 km west of the modern Nishitama county in Tokyo and ran along the Akigawa River Basin. [3] [4] The cities of Akigawa , Hatioji , Ome, the villages of Hinode , Okutama, and the village of Hinohara , Kamikoani bordered on him.
