Description
Relatively small butterflies with a wingspan of about 5-6 cm. On the wings above and often below, there are ocular spots. The central cell of the front wing is closed. The eyes are bare. Labial palps covered with hairs. On the fore wings, the veins R1, R2 do not branch and originate from the central cell. R3, R4, R5 have a common trunk, which also starts from the central cell. Veins R1 and R2 go to the costal margin of the fore wing, R3 extends to the apex, and R4, R5 [2] to the outer edge of the wing. Caterpillars feed on plants of the Lamiaceae family .
