Description
In the north, the Sivash Bay of the Sea of Azov is located, in the north-west along the Sivash it passes into the Prisivash Lowland , to the east - the Kerch Upland , to the south - the Central Crimean Upland . The lowlands correspond to the East Prisivash region of the physico-geographical region of the North Crimean lowland steppe - its western part, the Indole region of the physico-geographical region of the Central Crimean plain steppe - the eastern [2] . According to another characteristic, the northern part of the lowland is the South Sivash region of the Sisivash-Crimean low region, the southern part is the Indole district of the Central Crimean high region [3] . Its surface rises from north to south from 0 to 30 m. The lowest point is the water edge of the Sivash Bay -0.4 m. The highest point are many nameless hills.
The coastline of the Sivash Bay is smooth, slightly winding, unlike the Western Sivash. There are a few land areas periodically flooded (by the Sivash waters) under the influence of wind - wind surges, the largest site is located near the village of Krasnovka. There are no lakes in the lowlands, there are small ponds. Here the rivers Wet Indol , Subash , Churyuk-Su , the Kurpechenkaya beam flow; channels have been created (north of the North Crimean channel ).

Geology . The lowland corresponds to the Indolo-Kuban marginal trough , representing its land part, the Scythian plate. The gently sloping undulating surface of the plain consists of red-brown clays with interbeds of pebbles and loesslike loams. In river valleys, river pebbles are covered with loams up to 3-5 m thick.
Soils : dark chestnut low humus accumulative (on loess rocks) [4] . There are salt licks.
Nature
The nature of the Indole lowland is represented by typical fescue-feather grass and forbs-fescue feather grass steppes. There are forest belts, extremely few orchards and vineyards. No forests.
To protect natural complexes, the Arabatsky reserve was created with a total area of 600 hectares.
