Biography
Sergei Mikhailovich Timchenko was born on July 29, 1972 in the city of Red Ray of the Luhansk region. From the age of 6 he began to engage in boxing and later became a two-time champion of the Ukrainian SSR among young men (1984, 1985).
In 2003 he graduated from the Donbass Mining and Metallurgical Institute , in 2008 - Donetsk State University of Management (master's degree in foreign economic activity management), in 2012 - V.V. Dokuchaev Kharkiv National Agrarian University (master of foreign economic activity management, land surveyor) .
Married. Raises 4 children.
Career
He worked as deputy director of Motor Plus LLC in Lugansk. In 2003-2005, he was the head of the organizational department and the deputy chairman of the Lugansk regional branch of the Party of Regions . In 2005-2007 he was an assistant to the people's deputy of Ukraine in the apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada.
In 2007-2008, he was First Deputy General Director of the Center for State Land Cadastre under the State Committee of Ukraine for Land Resources.
From 2008 to 2010, he worked as an adviser to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Raisa Bogatyryova [1] .
In 2010, he headed the General Directorate of Control over the Improvement of Kiev, and then was appointed to the position of Deputy General Director - Head of Technical Programs of the Center for State Land Cadastre.
From June 2011 to March 2014 he was chairman of the State Agency for Land Resources of Ukraine [2] [3] [4] . Among the main achievements of the department during the leadership of Sergey Timchenko, experts call the launch on January 1, 2013 of the State Land Cadastre of Ukraine [5] [6] .
He also held a number of positions in sports organizations:
- 2006-2012 - Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Boxing Federation of the Lviv Region of Ukraine;
- 2012—2017 - Chairman of the Board of Trustees of MMA Russia;
- 2008—2015 - President and founder of the Battle Club of the Power of Siberia Woodang in China (TIM CHEN CO).
Since 2017 lives in the USA. He founded and leads the International Institute of Strategic Land Reforms in Princeton, New Jersey.
