Krasnopeschany is a village in the Narimanov district of the Astrakhan region of Russia, part of the Volga Village Council . The population is 56 [1] people (2014), 73% of them are Kazakhs.

Content
History
In 1969, by a decree of the Presidium of the Armed Forces of the RSFSR, the village of farm No. 1 of the Privolzhsky state farm was renamed Krasnopeschaniy [2] .
Geography
Krasnopeschany is located in the southwestern part of the Caspian lowland, in the right-bank steppe. There are no streets.

- National and gender composition
According to the All-Russian Census in 2010 , the population was 58 people (31 men and 27 women, 53.4 and 46.6 %%, respectively) [4] .
According to the 2002 census , in the national structure of the population, Kazakhs made up 73% of the total population of 344 residents [5] .
Infrastructure
Agriculture is developed. In Soviet times, the state farm "Volga".
