Shakyarov, Kudrat Abasali oglu

Born on March 8, 1926 in the village of Gadzhishaker of the Cuban district of the Azerbaijan SSR (now a village in the Siyazan district).

He began his career as a collective farmer. Since 1944, he was an installation fitter; since 1951, he was a foreman of installers of the Third Baku Installation Department of the Azneftekhimmontazh Trust.

Kudrat Shakyarov proved himself at work as an experienced worker and a skilled leader. Shakyarov was famous among installers for his hard work and fearlessness before work of any complexity. The installer and his team accounted for a variety of industrial enterprises - the Novo-Baku Oil Refinery named after Vladimir Ilyich, the Neftegaz, Budyonny, Dzhaparidze, Karaev, XXII Congress of the CPSU, the Baku Tire Plant, the Kirovabad Aluminum Plant, the Nakhichevan winery, Sumgait chemical plant, Karadag gasoline plant, Baku plant of domestic air conditioners and many others. But the team of installers under the leadership of Shakyarov participated not only in the construction of industrial facilities, but also participated in the construction of the Green Theater, the Baku funicular, the installation of a monument to Lenin in front of the House of Soviets. The greatest success of the brigade team led by Kudrat Shakyarov reached during the ninth and tenth five-year periods. During the ninth five-year period, a team of fitters participated in the construction of the Baku plant of domestic air conditioners. At a factory of household air conditioners, Shakyarov installed machines with a team, and the installation process included assembly and fitting of the machine from small parts weighing several tens of kilograms each. But the most difficult thing for the Shakyarov team was to install one of the workshops of a hundred-ton press in the premises: the workshop was densely built up with machines and all the traditional methods of delivering presses to a predetermined foundation were not suitable, however, it was Kudrat Shakyaro who found a reliable and relatively simple way to deliver the press. The construction of the plant was completed on time, despite the threat of non-fulfillment of the plan. The next feat of Shakyarov was hard work in the construction of the Novo-Baku oil refinery. Then Shakyarov faced the most difficult work of his career - the construction of an electric refining desalination plant ELOU-AVT-6. On this installation, the Shakyarov brigade completed large-scale and at the same time high-quality work in a short time.

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 26, 1976 , for the outstanding production successes achieved during the construction of the Baku plant of domestic air conditioners, Shakyarov Kudrat Abasali oglu was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle ."

He actively participated in the public life of Azerbaijan. Member of the CPSU since 1964 .
