He graduated from the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of Moscow State University (1927). From 1931 he worked there.
In 1935, without defending a thesis, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. In the same year, approved in the rank of professor.
Professor, Head of the Department of Electron Optics and Oscillography (1947-1953), Head of the Electronics Department (1966-1985) of the Faculty of Physics. He taught courses in physical electronics, electron microscopy, gas-kinetic problems.
Research interests: electrical discharge in gases, solution of gas-kinetic problems, physical electronics, electron microscopy.
Received 30 copyright certificates. Co-author of the scientific discovery "The phenomenon of domain wall rupture in ferromagnets under the influence of magnetic fields" (1975).
Laureate of them. MV Lomonosov (1972) as part of the group of authors for the series of works "The study of pulsed magnetization reversal of thin films."
