Kava, Dmitry Bogdanovich

Dmitry Bogdanovich Kava (born June 13, 1968, Novosibirsk , RSFSR, USSR) - Police Lieutenant General [1] , Minister of the Interior for the Republic of Ingushetia (May 1, 2017 - May 1, 2019) [2] .

Biography

From 1986 to 1988 he served in the army. Since 1993 in the internal affairs bodies, he began his career in his native Novosibirsk. Then he changed several positions, since 2003 he worked in the Siberian Federal District , then before his appointment to Ingushetia he held the post of deputy chief of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Stavropol Territory .

In 2015, he was awarded the rank of major general , and in 2018 - the lieutenant general of the police .

In April 2019, the media announced the resignation of Dmitry Kava from the post of Minister of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Ingushetia at his own request [3] . Dismissed on May 1, 2019 [4] .
