History
The squadron was founded in April 1961 as part of the 105th training aviation regiment. In the same year, it was relocated to the Zemunik airfield in Zadar. It was equipped with training aircraft UTVA Aero 3 and SOKO 522 . After the introduction of the new SOKO G-2 Galeb training aircraft, which replaced the two previous ones, in 1966 the squadron was disbanded along with the 464th and 465th squadrons. On their basis, the 249th and 251st fighter-bomber training squadrons were created as part of the 105th training (fighter-bomber) aviation regiment [1] .
