Geography

The village is located 3 km north of the town of Pokrov and 23 km northwest of the district center of Petushki .

History

In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Pokrov-Sloboda volost of the Pokrovsky district , since 1921 - as part of the Pokrov volost of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of Moscow province . In 1859 [2] there were 20 yards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 27 yards, in 1926 [4] - 23 yards.

Since 1929, the village was the center of the Gorochkovsky Village Council of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky District of the Moscow Region , since 1939 - as part of the Sloboda Village Council , since 1944 - as part of the Petushinsky District of Vladimir Region , since 1945 - as part of the Pokrovsky District , since 1954 - as part Ivanovo Village Council , since 1960 as part of the Petushinsky District , since 1967 - as part of the Nagorno Village Council , since 2005 - as part of the Nagorno Village Settlement .
