Biography
He was born in a peasant family in the village of Kochergi in the Sumy region (according to other sources - in a working class family in the city of Glukhov ). He began his career at 15 years old.
In 1924-1925 - Chairman of the Kocherginsky village committee of the poor and chairman of the Kocherginsky village council, secretary of the Komsomol cell of the village.
In 1925-1928 - in the Red Army.
Member of the CPSU (b) since 1927 .
Since 1932 - Head of the Department of the Izyum City Committee KP (b) U; Deputy Head of the Political Department of the Krasnodon Machine and Tractor Station; editor of a district newspaper; Member of the editorial board and head of the department of the republican newspaper Kommunist.
In 1938 - February 1941 - Director of the Radio Telegraph Agency of Ukraine (RATAU).
In February - July 1941 - the 2nd secretary of the Nikolaev regional committee of KP (b) U.
Since 1941 - in the Red Army. Member of World War II. Since 1941, he served as the head of the 8th department of the Political Administration, a member of the Military Council of the Southern Front.
In 1942-1943 - deputy chief of the Ukrainian headquarters of the partisan movement.
In 1943-1945 - Member of the Military Council of the 5th Guards Tank Army on supply.
After the war, he worked as deputy head of the press department of the Propaganda and Agitation Directorate of the Central Committee of the CP (b) U; Head of the Press Sector of the Propaganda and Agitation Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (B) U.
In 1950-1960 - Director of the Radio Telegraph Agency of Ukraine (RATAU).
In 1957-1959 - Chairman of the Organizational Bureau of the Union of Journalists of Ukraine. In 1959 - 1961 - Chairman of the Board of the Union of Journalists of Ukraine .
In 1965-1969 - in the apparatus of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR.
Then - retired in Kiev. He was buried at the Bike cemetery.
