Plaster
Platter - lumber in the form of bars with a square section [1] . The unit of measure of the skimmers is the Leningrad Standard, which is equal to 4.672 m³ (165 cubic feet). The name of the lumber comes from the “pan” - a stick on which the broom is mounted.
The skimmer was produced in the USSR from conifers of northern growth and supplied by the NKVT for export through northern ports.

- Dimensions:
- along the length of 1200 ... 1300 mm (48 ... 52 ").
- section from 25 × 25 to 37 × 37 mm (1 ... 1 1/2 ").
- According to the species of wood, the skimmers are:
- pine
- spruce
- Grade: 1st and 2nd grade - depending on the type, size of knots and other wood defects
- Drying and humidity: atmospheric drying to transport humidity (22%)
