History
The draft layout of the housing estate was developed by the Tatgrazhdanproekt Institute in the first half of the 1980s , shortly after the addition of the urban-type village of Azino to Kazan. Azino became one of the first microdistricts of Kazan, where there are no five-story houses of the old series. Construction began in the second half of the 1980s, with the construction of Azino-2 first starting. Construction in Azino-1 began only after 1995 , when a program to eliminate dilapidated housing was launched in Kazan.
In the 1990s, the housing estate was built up mainly with 9-10-story “Leningrad” buildings. However, in the late 1990s, two so-called buildings were built along Victory Avenue. " Turkish houses" of increased number of storeys. These houses were really built by Turkish workers according to Turkish projects. Since the early 2000s , high-rise buildings of improved layouts have been built.
Until 2012, there were two separate administrative and accounting units - Azino-1 and Azino-2. Currently, several homeowners associations operate on their territory.
