Biography
The first major international success came to Zheng Yi Jing in 2006 at the ITTF World Junior Circuit in Calcutta , where she won the gold medal in singles. [3] Three years later, Zheng Yijing repeated her success in Hong Kong .
Zheng Yi Jing won the first adult gold in 2010 in doubles at the ITTF World Tour in New Delhi . In the same year, she became a bronze medalist in pairs at the ITTF World Tour Grand Finals in Seoul . In total, Zheng Yi Jing won the doubles gold three times at the ITTF World Tour stages.
In 2016, Zheng Yi Jing took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where she reached the quarter finals in singles. [4]
In August 2016, Zheng Yi Jing first entered the top ten strongest players in the world according to ITTF .
Zheng Yi Jing won the World Championship medals twice - in 2016 bronze in the team category and in 2017 silver in the mixed category. She also won three singles at the World Cups - silver in 2016 and bronze in 2017 and 2018 [5] [6] .
