Chanel Mary Styres ( born Shanele Marie Stires ; born May 21, 1972 in Cloud County, Kansas , USA ) is an American professional basketball player who played for the Women's National Basketball Association . She was selected in the 2000 VNBA draft in the fourth round under the overall 56th number by the Minnesota Links team. Played as a light forward . At the end of her playing career, she joined the Ohio Bobcats NCAA Coaching Team. He is currently the head coach of the Cal State East Bay Pioneers student team.
