Content
History
At the beginning of the XIX century a farm was founded on this place. In 1878, the Donetsk Coal Railway [3] passed through its territory, connecting the Likhaya station with the center of the Donetsk coal basin - Debaltseve . The railway station built on this territory was originally called Kovalevo, and in 1904 it was renamed Gukovo.
Activities
Freight trains pass through the station; shunting operations are carried out on it. Passenger trains were canceled on May 25, 2013. Earlier, trains passed to the Ukraine through the station; it has a Russian customs inspection point. The Ukrainian security checkpoint is located at the next Krasnaya Mogila station.
