Geography
The village is located in the northern part of the region, east of the Yaya River, at a distance of about 27 kilometers (in a straight line) to the north-north-west (NNW) from the district center of the urban-type settlement Yaya . The absolute height is 177 meters above sea level [2] .
History
The village was founded in 1887 [3] . In 1911, in the village of Tikheevskaya , belonging to the Kolyonsky volost of the Mariinsky district , there were 72 courtyards and 489 people (248 men and 241 women). Functioned a bakery and a literacy school [4] .
According to 1926, there were 105 households and 624 people (299 men and 325 women) lived. The national composition of the population was dominated by Russians. Administratively, the village was the center and the only settlement of the Tikheevsky village council of Ishimsky district of the Tomsk district of the Siberian region [3] .
