Biography

Born in the small town of Woodville , Mississippi . Participated in the Civil War . Despite its origins, he fought on the side of the unionists . He participated in the battles for settlements of Fort Pickens ( Florida ) and Baton Rouge ( Louisiana ). Finished the war as a major . [one]
